Abstract (EN)
In this thesis high gradient magnetic fields formed by filled beds, which are made of ferromagnetic spheres, wire crumbs and metal fillings, and magnetization qualificationsof these filled beds were examined theoretically and experimentally. Formulas of theoretical results of gradient magnetic fields, which have been obtained over the last 150 years, have been examined and some of these results that can be used easily in practical applications are summarized. Taking advantage of the illustration of magnetization through channels, theoretical basis of the filled bed, which is made of ferromagnetic marbles, have been determined. To obtain practical B-H curves of magnetized filled beds new formulas have been developed and relationships between magnetization parameters have been improved. The effects of filling factor or bed porosity on magnetization curve were evaluated. Magnetization qualifications of the filled beds that are made of filling elements (spheres), which have different dimensions, were investigated. Comparison andcomments of theoretical and experimental results have been presented.
