The basic problems between Palestine-Israel and the International Law

The Palestine problem which exist during the 20th century, and besides not being solved, grows continuously has not been a problem that not only concerns territory of Israel and Palestine but also has come until today as a problem of which both great powers and neighbouring Arab countries are parties.Explaining the historical background of the Palestinian problem, the desicions taken by the United Nations are analyzed in paralel threads, the importance of the issue the United Nations is intended to reveal. Jeruselam, Palestinian refugees, Israeli settlers, water and development of wall-building issues are adopted as the basic problems and with the variety of contracts, revealing the solutions of these problems is proved that the international law isn?t inadequate about this subject. In this case, it is important to conclude that with the implementation of the international law desicions about issues, the solutions can be achieved. Also, the possible establishment of a Palestinian State`s most impotant obstacles as dividedness of Fatah/HAMAS and Gaza/West Bank which create negative developments cause the Palestinian issue unresolved. Because of this unresolved situation, self-determination which arise from being occupied by a foreign state can not be discussed at the Palestinian problem. Because of the Israel?s attitude taking no notice of international community, the United Nation?s and international law?s desicions, the problems continue to remain unsolved although the basic questions can be solved in terms of international law. Particularly USA, international community should show common position to solve the problems with international law. International law?s applicable example?s common points are great power?s and United Nation?s situation which engage in an active way, because of its absence at Palestine Issue, the problem continues to remain unresolved.
