Abstract (EN)
This study analyses the relation between Hamlet 2000 film adaptation and Postmodernism and how an incompatible form can be encountered in an adaptation film. On the other hand, while comparing Hamlet's 1996 and 2000 film adaptations, this study seeks a structural compatibility/incompatibility relation, and emphasises on the definitions by the communication theorist and the translation theorists within its conceptual frame, the basic functions of decor and costume in stage design and the reflections of editing structure of the film on the cinematic language. Study identifies itself with the effects of political and cultural dynamics of postmodernism on the everyday life practices; and starting from this point it aims to seize an incompatibility in the cinematic language.
