Abstract (EN)
This study was conducted to measure the reasons of individuals to use financial technology applications and the perception of trust in financial technology applications in the digital transformation process of the financial industry, and accordingly, the definition of financial technology, its history and the global and Turkish ecosystem were explained first. In the study, the functioning of the technologies used in the finance and banking sector are investigated. Financial technologies have been preferred by individuals in the finance and banking sector thanks to the efficient use of time, the ease of transactions, the accessibility at all times and the security services it provides. According to the results of the study, it is believed that this technology will be preferable as the number of transactions that are available in financial technology applications increases. Also, the study tried to eliminate the lack of knowledge about the financial technology. As long as the uncertainties are not solved, it is not possible to reach an exact conclusion on whether the trust in financial technologies will increase or decrease.
