Abstract (EN)

This study comprises synthesis of water-soluble polymeric calix[4]arene which contains pentafluoro benzyl group. Structures of these compounds were characterized by spectroscopic techniques (FTIR, 1H NMR), elemental analysis. 5,11,17,23-tetra-tert-butyl-25,26,27,28-tetra-hydroxycalix[4]-arene (1) was synthesized according to the methods described in the literatures. Compound 2 was synthesized by treatment with penta fluoro benzylbromide in the acetonitrile and K2CO3 solution. Compound 4 was obtained by means of treating compound 2 with polyethylene glycol mono methyl ether monotosilate in dissolved anhydrous THF in the presence of NaH. Investigation of antimicrobial activity of synthesized substances 2 and 4 was carried out by using studies Escherichia coli, Klepsiella pneumoniae, Listeria monocytogenes, Staphylococcus aureus, Proteus sp, Micrococcus luteus, Salmonella typhimurium, Bacillus subtilis, Bacillus cereus for biological activity. According to the results it was said that the compound 4 shows the most impact on Bacillus cereus and Micrococcus luteus the least impact on Staphylococcus aureus. According to the results it can be said that the compound 4 shows the most impact on Bacillus cereus and Micrococcus luteus the least impact on Staphylococcus aureus. Although it was observed that the compound 2 no effect on Staphylococcus aureus ve Proteus sp, but near antibiotic effect on Escherichia coli, Klebsiella pneumoniae, Bacillus subtilis. The fluorescence dyeing property of the compound 4 was also examined. It was observed from the results that Gram (-) Staphylococcus aureus is dyed with this compound but E. coli G (+) isn't dyed. In addition to these the corrosion study of the compound 4 was carried out. It was appeared from the data the inhibitor used is physically adsorbed on the surface.
