Abstract (EN)
As a result of the tremendous increase in energy demand and shortage of raw materials, efficient use energy of sources have become extremely important. Wind energy is one of the most available renewable energy sources and various wind turbine configurations have been studied to obtain electrical energy from wind in the most effective way. An axial flux, coreless stator, permanent magnet brushless motor have been implemented in this thesis. The simple structure of the prototype machine makes it proper for rural applications. 3-D model of the generator has been analyzed by finite element method. Results obtained from the model and experimental work at different power and speed operations have been compared and found in very good approximation.
