Abstract (EN)
In the study, it was aimed to examine the effect of 8 weeks of core exercises on some motor characteristics of futsal women's team players. 16 experimental groups with a mean age of 20.00±2.75 (years), a mean height of 160±537 (cm), a Body Weight (VA) of 49.62±8.98 (kg); 32 people, including 16 control groups with a mean age of 18.87±1.59 (years), a mean height of 158.75±5.72 (cm), and a VA of 53.37±11.73 ( kg), were included in the study. The population of the study includes female futsal players between the ages of 18-20 who play futsal in local clubs in Dhoke, Northern Iraq, and the sample of the study includes 32 female players between the ages of 18-20 who regularly practice futsal in the futsal category of Dhoke Sports Club. The study groups were given routine futsal training for eight weeks, three days a week. In addition to futsal training, the experimental group was made to do core exercises three days a week. Before and after the eight-week futsal training and core exercise, all participants were tested on Height, Body Weight, Flexibility, Back-Leg Strength, Hand-Claw Strength, 30 sec Sit-up, 20 m Sprint, Standing Long Jump, Vertical Jump, Medicine Ball Throwing. SPSS 26 statistical package program was used in the analysis part of the data. Paired Sample T-test was used to compare the variables within the groups, and Independent Sample T-test was used to compare the variables between the groups. The significance level of the statistical differences in the tests was determined as p<0.01. At the end of the study, a statistically significant difference was observed in the flexibility test, leg strength, right hand-claw strength, right-left hand-claw strength, 30 sec sit-up test, 20 m speed test, standing long jump, vertical jump test, medicine ball throwing parameters of the experimental group in motoric variables (p<0.01). There was no statistically significant difference in the control group's leg strength, right hand-claw strength, right-left hand-claw strength, 30 sec sit-up test, 20 m speed test, standing long jump, vertical jump test, and medicine ball throwing parameters (p<0.01). A statistically significant difference was observed in the slalom test, head and ball bounce test, shot on goal test and ball bounce tests in the experimental group of football skill parameters (p<0.05). In the control group, statistically significant was observed in the head and ball bounce test, shot on goal test and ball bounce tests (p<0.05). In conclusion; It is thought that periodized core exercises can be an effective training method on futsal players. Keywords: Blind, Exercise, Futsal
