Abstract (EN)
Today, rapidly developing industrialization brings with it important environmental problems as well as facilitating human life. Polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs), which are only one of the environmental problems, are one of the classes of organic pollutants. The negative effects of these pollutants on nature, environment and human health have been determined according to researches. In this thesis, method validation calculations were made in a GC-MS device using a different solid-phase micro-extraction technique in the water matrix. Subsequently, the presence of concentration formation of sub-target PAH compounds in drinking water stored in sunlight and dark environment was monitored. With the developed method, sub-target PAH compounds were added to the water samples in glass and plastic sample containers using the standard addition method, and their concentrations over a certain period of time were monitored under dark and light conditions. As a result of validation studies, studies on performance parameters were successfully completed. It has been predicted that the sensitivity and selectivity of the method used in the analysis of PAH compounds in drinking water is possible at low concentrations. It has been observed that the sequence scene was not determined in the concentrations for sub-target PAH nests in sunlight and dark environment containment enclosures in unloading drinking water samples. At the same time, PAH analysis will be performed to see the adsorption effect of microplastics on PAH emissions. It is predicted that the drinking water sample containers will be more suitable for the result in amber glass at +4°C ambient temperature.
