Abstract (EN)

Production, which provides goods or services in order to meet the human demands and needs of the enterprises, has an important place for the enterprises to maintain their effectiveness. Producing companies' efficient use of scarce resources and a strong attitude towards competitors are realized within a certain production planning. Since production planning is complicated in terms of scarce resources and takes a long time to analyze, it is easier to analyze with linear programming technique. Linear programming is a mathematical technique that aims to achieve optimal (best) results by using scarce resources of businesses. Food products are needed to ensure the sustainability of human life. This shows that the food industry has a large area in the world. Vinegar, which dates back to very old years, has been the most produced and consumed product due to the widespread use of its products. In this study, the production planning activities of a company producing vinegar are developed and a mathematical model is created with linear programming technique. In the study, using the linear programming technique Lindo 6.1 package program, a 1-month production planning was obtained in which profit was maximized. In cases where there is a change in the existing resources of the vinegar production company, a sensitivity analysis was also performed to calculate the profitability of the goal equation. KEYWORDS: Production Planning, Linear Programming, Vinegar Production, Food Industry, Lindo 6.1.
