Abstract (EN)
This study was planned to evaluate the validity and reliabilityCTurkish version of Pregnancy Sexual Response Inventory (PSRI) which was developed to assess the level of sexual function and assess the relationship between physical activity and sexual function during pregnancy. 139 pregnant women with a mean age 29,5 ± 4,8 years and no obstetric and medical complications were participated in this study. First of all, PSRI was adapted to Turkish. For the reliability of the PSRI, the scale was re-applied after 1 week to 139 pregnant women. The smallest ICC of items making up the subscale was 0.575 and 0.595. The total score of GCYE before pregnancy was ICC=0.908 and during pregnancy was ICC=0.936. The internal consistency (Cronbach's α) was determined 0.709 for total score of before pregnancy, 0.862 for total score of during pregnancy. As a result of investigating the contribution of 10 sub-factors on the scale, all the sub-factors represented the whole scale. Criterion validity was made in the analysis of the validity of the scale by using Female Sexual Function Index (FSFI). To investigate validity, correlation between sub-dimensions of FSFI (desire, arousal, orgasm, satisfaction, dyspareunia) and sub-dimensions of PSRI was found (r=0.416, r=0.451, r=640, r=0533, r=0.516) statistically significant and moderate. There was a high (r=0.715) and statistically significant (p<0.001) correlation between total score of FSFI and total score of PSRI. Physical activity level of pregnants was assessed by Pregnancy Physical Activity Questionnaire (PPAQ) and sexual function by FSFI. A statistically significant relation (p<0.05) was detected between sports/exercise and sexual desire (r=0.428), sexual arousal (r=0.281), between occupational activity and lubrication (r=0.207), between sedentary and total score of FSFI (r=-0.265). According to our study, PSRI was a valid and reliable questionnaire for assessing sexual function in pregnant women. It was determined that the high level of physical activity was related to sexual function in pregnancy
