Abstract (EN)
Global scale environmental and energy problems reached a dangerous point. For the reduction of these problems, the ecological balance of the system made it necessary to protect the sustainable development perspectives. Accordingly, respecting humanity and environment, complementing to natural resources, climate-compatible and creating of comfort conditions by using renewable energy resources, giving priority to the use of recycled material as well as ecological constructions that has a reduced rate of structural and household waste has gained high importance. In this study, ecology, sustainability and ecological processes of historical explanation of these concepts with the concept of architecture, ecological design criteria are discussed. This context-sensitive design of buildings and historical environmental conditions were investigated by evaluating the contributions of this architecture, sustainable building units. It was intended to reach a conclusion in the context of the residential buildings by supporting it with the following experimental research; facilitating from the newly designed and used energy performance tests and application samples, comparison of constructed using traditional masonry material, the heat, and vapor transfer, comparison of recycled rates with the reinforced concrete construction, and comparison of cement-based material and earth-based materials (plaster, filler, wall, etc?) comparison of stone masonry and concrete materials to investigate the material and the comparison between the toxic gas and greenhouse gas emissions, the space occupancy rates in the past building designs, standards of living, accordingly, the size of living space, living standards and conditions as the experimental comparison of current conditions.
