SUMMARY Traditional Turkish Tile Art is a kind of ceramics which has been changed and developed during 800 years in Anatolia and formed its own style. Today the traditional forms in other words the balance between the objective and the abstract, have been changed and as a result of this new searches have started. In these searches which we try to form the Contemporary Turkish Ceramic* s expression style, it will be wrong if we ignore the accumulation of traditional products. Because the necessary hints, for creating new, exists in traditional products. In this project, titled "Representation of Traditional Ceramics According to Contemporary Form and Color Concepts" the aim is to form a concrete sample of art's continuity and eternity. In forming Contemporary Turkish Ceramic' s expression style, using the accumulation of traditional forms will surely open new doors to researchers. Traditional Turkish Ceramic' s except its authenticism will found it's place in contemporary life by reproduction. V
