Abstract (EN)

The aim of this study is to investigate the marginal adaptation between porcelain laminateveneers and human teeth, bonded with conventional and new bonding method, comperatively.In this study, 20 anterior teeth, which are taken from human mouth, are used. The teeth areprepared with the material removal from facial and insisor faces of teeth and then treated withtwo different bonding methods.In both methods, porcelain laminate veneer treated teeth are investigated under low vakumSEM (scanning elektron microscope) with 35, 150 and 200 times magnifications andevaluated in three different classes as perfect marginal adaptation, gap formation andundetectable view, according to their bonding quality.No serious difference is determined between conventional bonding method and new bondingmethod by the results of the investigations. In both methods, clinically %50 bonding successis determined.
