Abstract (EN)

Today, the fast technologic and social change made the motivation theories very important according to the increasing interest to the management science and personnel management. It is obvious that the motivation which has essential role at the development of the employees has an important position for the performance of the business. So that, in order to from effective personnel policies in the times to come, the motivation theories are very considerable. It is very important to direct, develop and benefit from the human resources. In fact, motivation is very complex concept. Motivation is becoming a process that differs' nearly for every person or situation. Faced with this picture, it is necessary to shift to a new paradigm in explaining motivation. There are five parts in this thesis. First part includes information about the definition and the dimensions of the motivation, the second part includes the assumptions about the human side of management, third part includes motivation theories, the fourth part includes incentive means of motivation and finally the fifth part includes the contributions of Total Quality Management to personnel motivation.
