Determine of attitudes of personnel working in the youth services and sports provincial and district directorate to sustainability of sports: The example of ege region

DETERMINE OF ATTİTUDES OF PERSONNEL WORKİNG İN THE YOUTH SERVİCES AND SPORTS PROVINCIAL AND DİSTRİCT DIRECTORATE TO SUSTAİNABİLİTY OF SPORTS:THE EXAMPLE OF EGE REGION İn this research, it is aimed to analyze the attitudes of the personnel working in the Youth and Sports Provincial and District Directorates under the General Directorate of Sports to sustainability of sports in terms of different variables. In this research "descriptive scanning model" was used. The study consists of about 400 people working as managers, sports experts, trainers and sport training experts in Ege Region Youth and Sports Provincial and District Directorates. The research's sample group consisted of about 281 personnel working; will be selected by using random sampling method (Director, Branch Manager, District Manager, Researcher, Sports Expert, Coaches (Staff, Contract, Service) and Sportive Training Expert (Staffed, Contracted)). Personal information form and Sport Sustainability Questionnaire (SSQ) form developed by Koçak (2013) was used as data collection tool in the research. The data were analyzed by Kolmogorov-Simirnov test for normal distribution. Since the data were not normally distributed according to all variables, the analysis was carried out with non-parametric tests. The data obtained from the study were evaluated with SPSS 21.00 statistical package program and the data were evaluated using descriptive (frequency, percentage, average, standard deviation,minimum and maximum values) statistics and Kruskal Wallis in multiple comparisons and Wann-Whitney U test in binary comparisons. As a result; It was determined that the personnel participating in the study had a positive sustainability attitude in the whole and all sub-dimensions of the SSÖ. As a result of this research; personnel working in the Youth and Sports Provincial and District Directorates providing public service in the countryside are expected to increase the awareness of the sustainability of sports in the country, and provide an improvement in the development of sports throughout the country, and in providing a sustainable foundation for the next generations by ensuring the sustainability of this development.
