Investigation of the relationship between individual creativity and organizational commitments of the employees of the provincial directorate of youth and sports

In this study, it is aimed to examine the relationships between the individual creativity and organizational commitment of the employees of the Provincial Directorate of Youth and Sports. In the research, 405 personnel with different statuses working in the Provincial Organization of the Ministry of Youth and Sports constitute the research group. In the study, Personal Information Form, Individual Creativity Scale, Organizational Commitment Scale were used as data collection tools. Descriptive statistical methods were used in the analysis of the data, correlation analysis was used to determine the relationship between the scales, and simple linear regression analysis was used to test the effect strength of the independent variable on the dependent variables. Independent Sample T-Test was used to detect differences between two independent groups with difference tests, and One-way ANOVA test was used to detect differences between more than two independent groups. As a result of the research, significant positive relationships were found between the individual creativity levels of the participants and their organizational commitment levels. When the impact of individual creativity on organizational commitment is examined, the highest impact is in the emotional commitment dimension. In addition, while the individual creativity levels of the participants did not differ according to gender, age, marital status, service duration variables, significant differences were found according to the variables of status and education status. While there was no difference in organizational commitment levels according to gender, marital status, length of service and education status variables, significant differences were found in age and status variables.
