Abstract (EN)
In the developing world, the number of tools and equipments that is electric-powered such as industries, hauses and offices etc is increasing and concordantly the electric power demand is increasing. The various electric power plants are improved to satisfy rising need. Electric power is produced from energy sources such as thermic, hydroelectric, nuclear, solar, thermal, wind etc. Because of not using any fuel the wind power plants are more environmentalist. The wind power stations are preferred because of being environmentalist.Constant voltage and frequency electric power are needed to get maximum efficiency from the tools and equipment running with electric-power. In providing the clean energy needed by the consumers, it?s necessary that the ring must be feeded by the electric power plants properly to answer the purpose. Wind power plants are used to provide the rings? needs. Wind power plants are constituted of many wind tribunes. Different types of generators are used by the wind tribunes while producing electric energy. SCIG are preffered in wind tribunes because of being smaller in size and needing less technical care. The rotor speed must be in reference speed to get constant voltage and frequency energy from squirrel-cage induction generator used in the wind turbines. At this study, Genetic Proportional-Integral Control rotor speed of squirrel cage induction generator used in the wind power is carried out. Against any adverse impact, determination of PI coefficient that SKIG rotor enables to run the desired reference speed within the shortest time is determined by the genetic algorithm being an optimization method. Transfer function of rotor speed control of induction machine model created for this purpose is discussed. Sensorless rotor speed control, Field Effect Control are carried out in this study. Initially, PI coefficients are discovered with Ziegler-Nichols method being classical method. Wind turbine is modelled in Matlab-Simulink enviroment, simulation is operated with PI coefficients found with Ziegler-Nichols Method. By using speed transfer function of the system, genetic algorithm and PI coefficients are come up with. And then, Matlab simulation of the system is operated and the results are compared. It is understood that the system reaches a speed of reference in a shorter time and is more stable with PI coefficients being calculated by the genetic algorithm.
