Abstract (EN)

In this study, mechanical properties of cement based composites produced by expanded vermiculite with addition of silica fume at elevated temperatures were investigated. Mixtures were prepared with expanded vermiculite to cement ratios of 4, 6, and 8 by volume, volume fractions of 0%, 0,5%, 1,0%, and 1,5% for silica fume replaced with cement content were used. Dimensions of 40x40x160 mm specimens were exposed to 20°C, 300°C, 600°C and 900°C temperatures. Specimens were cooled to room temperature in air and flexure and compressive strength and ultrasonic pulse velocity of speciments were investigated. Experimental results compared with the control specimens.High temperature-resistant mortar, the work was done in order to produce a result, the test results were evaluated. Samples containing silica fume under the influence of high temperature, according to samples containing silica fume, gigh compressive strength, flexual strength, and ultrasound were lower transition rates.
