Abstract (EN)

The need for real-time wideband spectrum sensing has emerged for creating environmental awareness in dense environments where complex signals are present. Spectrum sensing plays an important role in efficient resource utilization and the detection of unused spectral channels in wireless communication systems, as well as in the extraction of precise and detailed parameters in electronic warfare environments. This thesis work presents a wideband spectrum sensing study that is implemented both in computer simulation environment and in real-time on Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) devices in the field. The signal processing algorithm adapted for spectrum sensing is developed with a sampling frequency of 4 GHz and Nyquist-based. The simulation results obtained in the computer environment are used as a comparison mechanism and compared with real-time simulation performance. In real-time studies, results were obtained with a bandwidth of 2 GHz in real-time were investigated.
