Abstract (EN)
This research focuses on the state of art new product development literature which includes customer&product validation with lean startup perspective. Synchronizing the entrepreneurship marketing tools with product development processes significantly improve the impact of the startups. This thesis also supported by an application based on the field of smart home security solutions. First a qualitative then quantitative market research executed in search of ideal customer strategy. Interviews were conducted with the target users and it appears that their security needs are not satisfied correctly with the recent alarm and camera systems. The market research also shows that the potantial customers' purchase intentions are positive. Analyses revealed positive correlation between artificial intelligent solutions and security anxiety. The people who own the traditional security solutions have higher security anxiety level than the others who do not own and they are more motivated to try smart home security solutions.
