Analysis of immigrant students' needs through opinions of stakeholders'

Today human interests and needs are the main focus of education. Regarding that human interests and needs change according to their differences, the concept of multiculturalism, in which differences of people are considered as much as the mutual aspects, seems to be inevitably significant in educational settings. This research aims to define the problems and needs about cultural diversity and immigration of the stakeholders of educational system (teachers, school administrators, parents, students) and to reveal what adjustments in which level should be made. The research being in desrcriptive and relational survey model, mixed convergent parallel design, in qualitative design interviews and in quantitative design two scales have been implemented. The study group, for the quantitative design consists of 269 class and branch teachers, for the qualitative design composed of 14 administrators, 17 parents, 18 teachers and 22 students. Data collection tools are "Cultural Intelligence Scale", "Teacher Efficacy Scale For Classroom Diversity", and semi-structured interviews. Quantitative analysis is practiced trough non-parametric tests and qualitative analysis is practiced by using qualitative and quantitative content analysis techniques together. The reasearch revealed that teachers regard themselves in a high level as "I trust myself" in cultural intelligence scale, and in a very high level as "I definitely agree"in efficacy scale for classroom diversity, also there is a need for education for the stakeholders in some specific topics and there is a need for stricter legal precautions about some topics.
