Abstract (EN)
In 1831, as part of the census, a local Islamic population census was also conducted in Gölpazarı, one of the districts of the Hüdavendigar Sanjak. The population book of Gölpazarı District, prepared within this scope, is dated 29 Teşrîn-i evvel 1246/10 June 1831 and is registered in the Presidency Ottoman Archives (COA) with the number 1417. In this study, 3 neighborhoods and 56 villages of Gölpazarı District included in the population book were evaluated. The age, height, beard and moustache, profession, title, name and special conditions of the male population living in the neighborhoods and villages were examined.
