Abstract (EN)

In this study, a home security system have been built using a credit card size computer, called Raspberry Pi. The system consists of two parts. The first part monitors house during for 24 hours through sensors and cameras and thus maintains feedback. The second part's purpose is to alarm in case of breaking into. Firstly, in the presence of system, web server system have been set up in computer card and cameras were associated with. Then, the Arduino control board that our sensors are connected via serial port have been connected to computer card. Thus, the system has made it possible to monitor the house over the web. Door security also provided by generating arduino password code for outer door. The security system automatically takes pictures of the areas where a motion monitored which evokes a break into suspicion and sends it to home owner via e-mail. Also it sends messages with whatsapp aplication. When the correct password is entered and the door is opened the door burglar alarm part changes to passive mode. By means of this study, a very functional application which is supportable by open source codes was developed. Application also makes it possible using compact tiny computers.
