Abstract (EN)
This thesis study aims to examine the navigation interactions of blind individuals and to identify the shortcomings of existing technologies in this field, thereby providing innovative solutions to meet the needs of blind individuals. Within the scope of the study, the navigation challenges faced by blind individuals in their daily lives and the existing solutions used to overcome these challenges have been analyzed in detail. Data has been collected through semi-structured interviews, and the obtained data has been evaluated using content analysis. In light of the data obtained, a user-centered model proposal has been presented to enable blind individuals to move more safely and independently. Furthermore, the recommendations and future perspectives presented in this thesis are expected to serve as a guide for researchers and practitioners working in this field. Thus, it is aimed to enhance the quality of life of blind individuals, allowing them to integrate better into society.
