Abstract (EN)

Recently, multimedia applications entered to our lives with the computer. It is being used in many different fields as a teaching device. It seems possible to utilize from some or all of the vision, sound, text, video, animation and music based presentations interactively. However, in current applications of education there is not enough multimedia teaching material in this field. In this context, it is the aim of this research to improve a visual multimedia teaching material which is an important issue in logotype design.In this research, the descriptive research method, which is a part of qualitative research method, has been used. The aim of this research is not to determine a relation of cause-result but to reveal the process of logo designing by using multimedia teaching methods based on related literature. Therefore, related written literature has been scanned on preparing a teaching method for multimedia and logotype design and from the results a database was prepared. And by regarding this database and considering the graphic design principles in literature, requirements of the material preparing process and considering the important components in logotype design, a multimedia teaching material has been developed towards the logotype designing. During the process of establishing the aims has been investigated by consulting with teacher candidates, by getting expert views and by providing a pilot research through observation; and the material has been developed to the final stage intentionally.
