Abstract (EN)
Handover is the most important procedure that provides continuous communication inwireless communication system. Handover is the process of transferring a mobile stationfrom one base satiton or channel to another base station or channel. Handover algorithms aremodelled to achieve this process completely. Due to complexity of the handover, algorithmshave a lot of types and features. ANN is can be used to improve the performance of thealgorithm that has a lot of inputs. In this project the handover fundamentals, propogationmodels and fundamentals,handover algorithms are analysed and a basic ANN algorithmmodel is introduced.Key Words: Handover, handover algorithms, propogation models, cell models, path loss,shadowing, ANN
