Abstract (EN)
In this study, the current musical state of the double bass instrument and the innovations in its playing techniques have been investigated. Data regarding new playing techniques and their application methods were gathered by scanning various theses, articles, and video recordings published on digital platforms. As a result of this scan, videos uploaded by different performers on digital platforms were accessed. These videos were analyzed for data collection purposes, and the obtained data are presented in the findings section of the study. It was determined that the vast majority of videos that could provide data for the research were on the 'YouTube' platform; the relevant videos were downloaded and transcribed using the descriptive analysis method. As a result of the research, it is thought that educational videos of a similar nature to those analyzed will increase the awareness of these new techniques and facilitate learning through explanatory narratives.
