Abstract (EN)
Ornament has an important place in health, aesthetics and furniture design as both decorative and functional unique. Throughout historical ornaments, furniture has been used not only to gain visuality, but also to convey cultural, social and emotional messages. From an aesthetic perspective, ornaments allow a furniture design to establish a visual and emotional connection with the user. In this context, ornamental elements are not only a decorative element of a design, but also a tool that enriches the overall meaning and value of the design. Elegant, a strong bridge between aesthetics and functionality in furniture design is more meaningful. In this study, which aims to guide today's and future design processes by examining the perception of ornament, the relationship between the ornament element and furniture design is examined conceptually, and the effects of these changes from the past to the present in the historical process on furniture designs are exemplified. Nurus's design approach is analyzed in 9 items as Sustainability and Ecology, Contemporary Production Technologies, Raw Material and Material Usage, Artificial Intelligence Usage, Cultural Elements, Designer's Aesthetic Perception, Fashion and Period Styles, Economic Factors and Consumer Profile and Preferences and Brand Identity within the framework of eight important designers and Nurus D.Lab's innovative production approaches.
