Circulation of informative image in contemporary art

Nowadays, due to the technological improvements, art work has new and different dimensions. Art work as a storage and sharing platform for information, constantly improving expression possibillities via circulation of informative image. Because of the rapid technological progress and social changes in twentieth century the circulation of informative image has powerfull meanings for the global culture.In the first chapter of thesis said to discussing the aim of sense, assignations made for the circulation of image over western art, with social and political changes in historical approach. The effect of this circulation, to be defined out of power wich image has given to social memory since French Revolution. In addition to first half of twentieth century, changing hands for being center of art and the effect of this period to be summarized on image convention.By the second chapter, pimary subject of thesis ?the circulation of informative image? is to being exhaustive analyzed with references from different disciplines. There were few issues on this important headline in Türkiye. For this reason, primarily it?s interpreted that; approach of different disciplines on informative image and circulation of image in the light of positioning the image from an artistic mount.In the last chapter, it?s analysing that the status of artist in circulation of image, for context factor of viewer and art work. It?s analyzed the causality of an artist?s usege of image, with handling art work as design and interpretation process of image as memory. In conclusion of thesis, offering a way out for explanation of using informative image in art work as a designing platform.
