European Union' energy policy by its security dimension

Energy is a vital issue in terms of states and regional formations? security, sustanance of economic development and accommodation to the competition, hence it deserves a world wide interest.Although it is the second largest economy in the world, the European Union has no sufficient energy sources that will make its economic machine to run. Hence, the EU?s healthy diagnose of its needs and the sources from where it might transfer the energy is very important. Once the required energy can not be meet by its own resources the Union?s relations with the resource countries has urged it to put forth comprehensive strategies on energy security.Energy politics has some aspects like the efficient use of the available sources, substitution of energy import by the creation of alternative energy sources, struggle against climate changes and the security and sustanance of the energy supply.
