Abstract (EN)

The torsional moments in ships, in particular, is formed by the incoming waves fromthe ship bow and the loading that is not symmetric with respect to ship lenght axis. Inships which have large deck openness, such as containerships, the shear stress that is caused by the torsional moment reaches there markable magnitudes. The torsional moment formed by the incoming waves from the ship bows varies through out theship. In additional, the bloating at the ship lenght axis is prevented because thetransverse section where the cargo area of the ship starts is rigit. For these reasons, prerequisites for the constant torsional moment of the uniform torsional the oryandthe independent bloating of the transverse sections at the lenght axis are not provided. Addition to the shear stress at the ship transverse section, the bloating normal stres occurs at the ship lenght axis. The effect of the deck with for shear and bloating normal stress that is produced the torsional moment, which is formed by the incoming waves from the ship bow and the loading that is not symmetric with respectto ship lenght axis, in barges which have ship section, are investigated in this thesis.For these aim, the barge is effected by statical torsional moment, torsional moment which is formed by waves and torsional moment which is produced nonsymmetrical load. Then values of shear and normal stress are calculated for ratio between deck width and ship beam(a/B), which are 0(opened section); 0,219; 0,250; 0,281; 0,313; xx0,344; 0,999(approximate closed section) and 1(closed section), according to uniform torsional theory and nonuniform torsional theory.Keywords: Ship strength, ship structural elements, ships which have large deckopenness
