Abstract (EN)

Ottoman Government has an important place in Turkish History and culture.The most important judgement sevtion of this this Turkish Government which acceptslam Law as a sytem of law is Şer?i Court. These Courts had left us very valuablehistorical documents about legal, economical, religius, military, administrative andsocial institutions in the differentr periods of Ottoman Government.In this study, we tried to light up Ottoman History investigating 63 numberedŞer?iyye register which begins from 1455 and lightens up 572 years seriyye registers;Medinet?ül-Hükema Rummiye-yi Suğra, Bağdat?ür-Rum and especially includesAmasya?s H 1200 -1201 (M 1785 - 1787) dates which is known as ?Sultan?s SonsCity?The administrative , social and economic sructure of Amasya according to the( Seriyye sicili ) dated H.1200-1201 our thesis called Amasya forms three sectionAt the first section. We tried to give information about Amasya?s geographical,historical and administrative structure. In this direction we tried to determineAmasya?s geographical stuation, historical term and according to the 63 numberedşer?iyye register administrative in charge. At the second section we tried to makeevaluations about Amasya?s institutions. At the third sections we tried to get datumabout Amasya?s economical and commercial structure.As a result had protected its being an important city of Anatolia with the role oftransportation, with the cultural and historical accumulation although not defending itsold valve in the last quarter of XVIIIth century.
