Word presentation in Hacı Bektâş-ı Veli works

Hacı Bektāş-ı Velį The scholar who was educated in the 13th century and who made great contributions to the Turkish language and Turkish culture, is a mystic scholar. The vocabulary that make up his works reflects the characteristics of the period when the Turkish language led to Western Turkic. Therefore the study in which we prepare the words in detail in terms of meaning will contribute to the elimination of the lack of research in the field of vocabulary available on this period. In our thesis the words in Velāyet-nāme, Makālāt, Besmele Tefsiri published by Hamiye Duran and Fatiha Tesfiri published by Hüseyin Özcan are categorized according to their titles and examined in terms of meaning. The meaning of the examined words is given and exemplified with a sentence from the text. Example sentences are given with the text number and abbreviation of the text name. Our study consist of three parts. In the first part Hacı Bektāş-ı Velį, in the second part Hacı Bektāş-ı Velį's vocabulary is in the works, in the third part Statistical Datas. In the first chapter ınformation about Hacı Bektāş-ı Velį is given under certain headings. In the second part the vocabulary of the four works scanned is examined under four titles. In the third part the number of times all words have been identified and analyzed in tabular form. In the conclusion part the data obtained were evaluated by associating with the text. The vocabulary of Hacı Bektāş-ı Velį was determined based on numerical data. Thus the analytical examination of the words in her works will contribute to the understanding of that period. Our thesis work starts with the ıntroduction and continues with the Hacı Bektāş-ı Velį's vocabulary and Statistical Data sections. It ends with bibliography sections.
