Abstract (EN)

This thesis is about determining the strain distribution of anchors and anchor behavior withincreasing excavation depth. An anchor in the retaining system designed with soil nails andshotcrete, was instrumented with 12 strain gages and a load cell in the head. The results ofstrain measuring are used to determine the distribution of forces and bond stresses along thefixed anchor length. Also inclinometer measurements were taken and compared with displacement values whichwere obtained from Plaxis.A performance test was done on the instrumented anchor; load distribution was determined bythe verificated data which was transformed to stress and force. Keywords: geotechnical anchor, anchor load distribution, ultimate capacity, bond stress,displacement.JURY:1.
