Abstract (EN)

Hamzaâme, which was first seen in Arabic and Iranian literature and later seen as an oral tradition in Turkish literature, was very popular among the Turkish people because of its characteristics of Turkish- Islamic culture. It is an epic folk tale written by the poet Ahmedi's brother Hamzavî in the 14th century and formed around Hz. Hamza's hagiographic life. Hamzanâme, which has seventy-two volumes identified, is a very successful text in terms of vocabulary and grammar. In this study, the twelfth volume of Hamzanâme is discussed. First of all, a summary of the text was presented, followed by a transcribed translation of the text. Then, a comprehensive dictionary reflecting the entire vocabulary of the text was put forward. Key Words: Hamzavî, Hamzanâme, Hz. Hazma, Former Anatolian Turkish Period
