Abstract (EN)
The Hamzanama, written by Hamzavi during the 14th-15th centuries, are folk tales describing the wars of Hazrat Hamza, his sons, and his lords to spread Islam. Hamzanama is important in terms of reflecting the Old Anatolian Turkish language features. In this study, the 57th volume of Hamzanama was examined. Firstly, the volume was transferred to new letters in a way to carry the Old Anatolian Turkish language features within the transcription rules, then, its summary was discussed, and a comprehensive dictionary in which all the words in the text taken place was prepared by making determinations on the grammatical units in the text. Key Words: Hamzanȃme, Hamzavi, 14. Yüzyıl, Eski Anadolu Türkçesi.
