Abstract (EN)

The use of nonlinear devices has made the electrical world a lot more complex. Many of the nonlinear loads cause electrical problems such as flicker, harmonics and poor displacement power factor that conventional solutions fail to remedy. The possibility of resonance, still a potential problem associated with passive L-C filters. Active harmonic filters were introduced in the mid-late 1990?s and were adopted over the next few years as an expensive but technically viable alternative to passive L-C filters and transformer based phase shifting techniques, either via multi-pulse drives or quasi multi-pulse systems. The factory?s single line diagram is set and simulated with Matlab. It?s scoped current and voltage waves form in some conditions that compensation and filters is either on or not. Obtained values are compared with real ones. Keywords: Harmonics, compensation, displacement power factor, filtration, simulation.
