Abstract (EN)
During the treatment of a health care provider or hospitalized patient, hospital infections may occur. In hospital patients; other health problems, functional disorders, emotional stress, decreased quality of life, increased use of drugs, loss of labor, loss of labor, increased hospital stay, loss of life of the patient, may lead to different situations leading to increased treatment costs. Considering these conditions, the importance of infection is increasing by both the patient and the health care institution. In this study, a meta-analysis method was used. Hospital infections worldwide and is a major health problem in Turkey is increasing with each passing day more importance. The transport of microorganisms is mostly by the hands of the health personnel through contact. Nosocomial infections can be prevented by measures to be taken. The most important of these measures is the most reliable, the most effective, the easiest and the lowest cost is the hand hygiene. Informing all healthcare workers about this issue, ensuring the understanding of the importance of handwashing and providing the required training are of great importance in preventing the infections. For this reason, all health workers should receive the necessary training, adapt to prevention measures and ensure continuity.
