Abstract (EN)
In this study, total alpha beta measurements were made in irrigation waters of Hatay province Erzin county. Irrigation water was taken from a total of 17 boreholes. Water samples have been pre-processed and ready for counting. Total alpha beta counts in water samples were determined using the MPC 9604 Ultra Low Lewel counter. The alpha count values ranged from 0.083 ± 0.016Bq / L to 1.117 ± 0.101Bq / L, while the beta count values ranged from 0.014 ± 0.004Bq / L to 0.911 ± 0.044Bq / L. The results obtained include values that exceed the limits of the world health organization and Turkish standards institute. Key Words: Gross alpha, beta, irrigation water, radiation.
