Abstract (EN)

Self-compacting concrete (SCC), is a type of special concrete which is produced in high flowable consistency by using chemical additives. As it is easier to replace such type of concretes, errors caused by workability are reduced by this way. More qualified concrete and concrete products thus become easily derivable. Within this study, historical development of SCC, its definition, advantages, characteristics, experiments to determine these characteristics and use of area are compiled. In this study, experiments on the workability of SCC ve compressive strength of fly ashes and air entraining admixture over SCC are examined under laboratory conditions. In SCC technology, in order to derive fluidity and stability at once, new generation polycarboxylate based hyper fluidifiers with pozzolanic and inert mineral additives or viscosity-increasing chemical agents can be used. In the production phase of Self Compacting Concrete, in order to make series, as an addition to the dosage, 10-20-30 % fly ashes additives and 0.1% air entraining agent are added. Thereafter, fresh concrete experiments have been conducted in those series. After 7 and 28 days hardened concrete experiments have been done. The results have been stated by a detailed study and evaluated as well. Keywords: Air entrainment, Self compacting concrete, Fly ash, Compressive strength, Workability
