Abstract (EN)
The studied Mn ore deposits are situated in the area between Maden and Hazar settlements which is 65 km East of Elazığ township. The Mn mineralizations of the region usually occur as lenses, stocks and layers within red mudstones of Maden Complex. The mineralizations of Hazar vicinity placed in three different areas and the thicknesses of the mineralized bodies vary between a few cm to 5-6m. The ores of Hazar are fine grained and massive.
