Relation between occupational health and safety applications and quality in clothing industry

With the developing technology and renovations in business life, man, the most essential source of industry is becoming foremost. Previously occupational health and safety considered the only element of finance is henceforth providing advantages such as profit and esteem for industries more than social responsibility.The purpose of occupational health and safety applications is not only to protect the workers from industrial accidents and occupational diseases but also to provide better working conditions. In the meantime, these applications have advantages and financial contributions for the employers in the long term.In this study, on a search inclined to find whether there is or isn't an existence of relationship between occupational health and safety applications and quality, an inevitable factor in more serious competitional conditions, Clothing Industry preserving of our country's one of the locomotive sectors, is preferred its importance for country's finance as well as the number of workers employed.In this study, after the conceptional information about occupational health safety, quality and clothing ındustry a pilot group formed in Izmir and former and latter condition of clothing industry in Izmir Agean Free Zone will be interrogated.Key Words: 1) Occupational Health and Safety 2)Clothing Indusrty 3) Quality
