The recording of the Prophetic hadith began from the time of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, in a limited manner, then it developed during the time of the Companions, then the Followers, then it began to take more mature forms during the era of the followers of the Followers, among whom were the great hadith scholars, who collected the Sunnah in works and arranged them in chapters, Each one of them deposited his knowledge in these works, either by adding his personal judgments and opinions with the Prophetic hadiths, as in Malik's Muwatta', or by collecting the opinions of those around him from the followers and followers of the followers and including them in his work, as in the work of Abd al-Razzaq and Ibn Abi Shaybah, or By including jurisprudence in the biographies of chapters, as Al-Bukhari did and those who came after him, such as Al-Tirmidhi, Al-Nasa'i, and the rest of the authors of hadith compilations. This thesis discusses the purposes that made the hadith scholars classify their books in this way, in terms of their division of chapters and their writing of biographies, because the importance of any book appears from its title. If the title is strong and proportional to the content it contains, the book is strong, and if it is the opposite, the book is weak. Therefore, many scholars took care to explain the biographies of the chapters, explain their suitability to the hadiths they contain, and extract the jurisprudential and fundamental opinions of their authors from them. Then this thesis came to complete this effort, and add a stone to the scientific construction, by extracting the most prominent objectives of the hadith scholars from their tabulations, explaining them, and mentioning examples of them.
