Abstract (EN)
Hydrological models are used to understand the hydrological cycle and operationally essentialto estimate the yields of water resources. Since hydrological processes include so manyparameters, the models with few parameters are often preferable to decrease the do torequirements and simplfy the calibration process. In this study, the monthly rainfall-runoff modelGR2M is used to estimate monthly flows. Several evaporation methods are used to during thecalibration processes. Two calibration methods are used. Thus several combinations of modelruns are performed in an attempt to obtain the best forecasts. The model runs are carried out inthe using the data for Büyük Menderes Basin, Turkey. The results have indicated that themonthly flows can be estimated with quite satisfactory performances .
