Practical approaches in managing stock portfolios and an ISE practice

The competitive world of today obliges people to be more efficient whilemaking investments. Like in many other fields, approaches in investmentwithout background are usually fallible. The portfolio management is, by now,indispensable in investment process.Portfolio management is an important task in investment decisions. Thiscan be achieved by means of different methods in a broad spectrum from simpleintuition to technical analyses.The aim of this study is to discuss practical approaches which investorscould apply in managing stock portfolios and to practise these approaches bymaking a portfolio which contains the stocks that take place in Istanbul StockExchange (ISE).Key Words: 1) Portfolio 2) Portfolio Management 3) Practical Approaches
