This dissertation is a verification, authentication and critical editing of the manuscript "Sharh Miftah al-Uloom" from the beginning of the section on Rhetoric to the end of the chapter I'tibaraat Al-musnad ilayh by the eminent Imam, the supreme debater, the leader of the scholars of Critical Editing, the sword of the community and the religion: Al-Muadhini Al-Khwarizmi (d.742 AH /1341). This manuscript is among the most famous word-for-word commentaries on "Sharh Miftah al-Uloom". It is a commentary heavy in the rational sciences and light in the transmitted sciences resulting in the dominance of Aqli and Kalami discussions along with objections by the author intending to provoke deep thought and extract finer meanings through contemplation leaving the reader with the choice to concur or differ, making it one of the most comprehensive, meticulous and investigative commentaries. In addition, this commentary came during the period in which commentaries aimed to marry the sciences with the terminology of the age and were distinguished by clarifying technical issues. The flourishing libraries of Türkiye housed many copies of the manuscript while its scholars, through commentaries and annotations, gave it special attention from which I benefited immensely. I followed a critical and academic approach to the text and explored deep issues in presenting the book and author. I discussed previous and subsequent studies on the topic of Rhetoric, clarifying how the text was influenced and its influence. I also placed the text in its legitimate historical context while studying the author's methodology and the text's sources, strengths and weaknesses and its contribution to the field academically. Through this Critical Editing I aim to present a trustworthy, accurate and readable text and to introduce the author. I exerted effort to produce the text correctly and to make it correspond to the intent of the author in both expression and meaning.
