Abstract (EN)
The subject matters of the artworks are differential in terms of discourse and aproaching styles of these themes even though they are similar in different regions. It is possible to have an idea on how love is treated in East and West by comparing two heroes love stories of William Shakespeare, who is one of the greatest artists of westernWorld in XVI. Century and Şeyh Galib, who is one of the greatest artists of Eastern Worldin XVIII. Century. In this thesis study, titled as "The Examination of Hüsn ü Aşk and Romeo & Juliet in Terms of Narration Technique", It is aimed to examine similar and different aspects of these two literary works in terms of plot & characters, time, place, narrator and perspectives. The study consists of two main chapters. The First Chapter includes examination of plots narrated stories in both literary Works. These stories were classified in three chapters acording to the development of events in both Works. The beginning and ending parts of these sections were explanied under each title of chapters. The title of " Change of Tribes Before and After Love" took place in the first chapter of Hüsn ü Aşk. The Second Chapter includes the Titles of "Characters, Time, Place, Narrator and Perspective"
