Abstract (EN)

The primary objective of formal arts education institutions is to guide individuals towards their goals with training plans tailored to their interests in music genres and instruments. This process is structured based on the students' current competencies, utilizing the most efficient and effective educational systems. Located in Istanbul and housing two music schools, the Enstitü İstanbul – İSMEK provides training in various musical instruments. Students who apply to this institution have diverse motivations: some aim to fulfill a childhood dream, while others aspire to become professional musicians. Additionally, there are those who choose this education to use their free time productively, support their children's piano education, or simply enjoy the melodic sound of the piano. Other participants are drawn to music education to enhance their general knowledge, mitigate the effects of aging, strengthen their hand muscles, or as a form of rehabilitation. In this study, the research population consists of piano students enrolled at Enstitü İstanbul – İSMEK, and the effects of the applied method are thoroughly examined through data collected in accordance with structured work. The impact of the method on the students receiving education at this institution is analyzed in detail.
