Abstract (EN)
This research, was carried out in order to determine the effects of cutting time on the yield and quality properties of mixtures of common vetch (Vicia sativa L.), barley (Hordeum vulgare L.) and triticale (x Triticosecale Wittmack) grown at the different seed mixture ratios under Igdir ecological conditions during the vegetation periods of 2015-2016 and 2016-2017. The field experiment was arranged in comlete randomized block design with split plot arrangemen. According to the two-year averages obtained from the research; the highest values of green herbage yield, dried herbage yield and digestible dried matter yield were obtained from the mixture of 25% common vetch (CV) + 75% triticale (T), as 3021.99, 891.84, 506.99 kg da-1, respectively. The highest crude protein ratio was obtained from pure CV (16.83%) and the highest crude protein yield was obtained from mixture of 75% CV + 25% T (81.47 kg/da). On the other hand, the lowest ADF and NDF ratios were obtained from pure CV 32.72%, 43.61, respevtively. The highest digestible dry matter ratio and NYD were obtained from pure CV 63.41% and 135.92 respectively. As the ratio of common vetch in the mixtures increased, the crude protein ratio increased, ADF and NDF ratios decreased. Considering all the parameters examined, the most suitable mixtures in terms of quality and yield characteristics, were the mixtures of and 25% CV + 75% T and 50% CV + 50% B harvested at the milk stage. In the mixtures of 25% CV + 75% T and 50% CV + 50% B harvested in the milk stage gave the green herbage yield 3675.89 and 3433.31 kg da-1, dried herbage yield 1268.39 and 1278.29 kg da-1, ADF ratio 42.51% and 40.03%, the NDF ratio 60.93% and 56.04%, crude protein yield 99.75 and 101.42 kg da-1, digestible dried matter yield 706.18 and 738.12 kg da-1, respectively. It was concluded that it would be appropriate to harvesting in the milk stage of cereals and to grow the mixtures of 25% CV + 75% T and 50% CV + 50% B in order to obtain high yield and quality from mixtures of the vetch and cereal, under Igdir province and similar ecological conditions.
