Abstract (EN)

Economic effects are at the root of the biggest global changes in world history. Globalization, which meets this transformation in terms of terms, has brought with it many changes. Nation-states have kept up with global change policies, sometimes by necessity and sometimes by choice. Global capital owners see nation-states as statelets that can be easily manipulated. Therefore, the concept of globalization, which greatly affects nation-states and all the people of the world, must now be concretized. II. Nation-states, which suffered economic devastation after World War II, began to change their global policies in line with the mentioned directions because they needed cooperation due to security concerns and economic concerns. In today's world, globalization has reached the power to affect many areas, from economy to politics, from health to food, from the immigrant crisis to nation-state independence. Based on the hypothesis that capital accumulation evolving into an ultra-capitalist global structure prevents nation-state sovereignty, the study aims to evaluate the positive and negative effects of globalization on nation-state independence and the processes that transform nation-states. In our study, the method of examining secondary sources with qualitative research techniques was used. The scope of our study is II. It is limited to focusing on the period after World War II. As a result of the study, it was found that globalization and global capital have reached the power to affect everything from economy to politics, from health to food, from the immigrant crisis to nation-state independence, and pose a threat to nation-state sovereignty.
